Welcome to Peter's Fulbright Project Proposal Page!

Thank you for your interest in my application.

My name is Peter So: puzzle hunter, programmer, bowler.

Over the past eight years, I have designed and built custom manufacturing machinery for the mobile electronic, semi-conductor, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries.

I am currently working on making robots more user-friendly for everyone, not just cooped up engineers. I have 10 years of design experience with several CAD platforms and have dedicated my professional career to learning as much as I can about automation.

When I am not working, you can find me outside, running at a nearby park, or nestled up with a good book and latte. I live to travel and photograph the world as it is and design the future I want to live in.

I am currently drafting a plan to build a robot system that aims to serve the aging population and help individuals in their home with every day tasks to extend the length of their ability to live independently. Dr. Sami Haddadin is the mastermind I intend to work with to bring this project to life with his fully funded Smart City project in Germany.
