Welcome!

My name is Peter So.
Engineer, Designer, Developer, Inventor, Maker, Creator.

I like to solve problems:

• How can we create a smart network of sensors that operate solely using energy harvested from their surroundings?
• How can I film an action scene and always keep the actor in the frame?
• Is it possible to have a personal movie soundtrack that changes with your activity?
• Can we make programming an industrial robot simple enough to teach middle school students to operate a high capacity manufacturing line?

I have 5 years design experience in custom machinery and acquired extensive hands-on experience solving manufacturing problems for the semi-conductor, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries.

I am currently working on making robots more user-friendly for everyone, not just cooped up engineers.  

When I am not working you can find me outside, running at a nearby park or nestled up with a good book with a warm latte. I live to travel and photograph the world and people in it.
